Our role
In most cases, IACE Travel Inc. arranges travel services as an agent for airlines, hotels, ryokan, rail companies, tour operators and other suppliers. Each service is governed by that supplier’s own terms and conditions.
Quotes and bookings
A quote is not a booking. We hold the quoted price only until the expiry date stated on it. A booking is formed when we confirm in writing and payment is received. Names must match your passport exactly; corrections after ticketing may not be possible.
Prices and payment
All quotes and invoices are in Canadian dollars. Visa / Mastercard / AMEX / bank transfer. Any fees are disclosed before you pay.
Changes and cancellations
Cancellation terms are set by each supplier and stated on your confirmation. Talk to us before you cancel, because changing dates is sometimes cheaper.
Force majeure
We are not liable for non-performance caused by earthquakes, typhoons, epidemics, government measures, strikes and the like. We will, however, pursue refunds from suppliers in good faith and tell you honestly how likely recovery is.
Complaints
Come to us first. If we cannot resolve it, bookings made in Ontario can be escalated to TICO, and bookings made in BC to Consumer Protection BC.
