Questions answered in 3 seconds, before you write
Should I buy a JR Pass?
It stopped being an automatic yes. See the route-by-route math, or just send us your route as is.
Do I need a visa?
Not on a Canadian or U.S. passport for tourist stays up to 90 days. Just remember to register on Visit Japan Web.
First time in Japan. Where do I even start?
Our complete first-trip guide covers everything from arrival to etiquette. Talk to us before you read it, or after. Either works.
When will I hear back?
Within 24 hours on business days. If we need to check with a supplier in Japan it can take one day longer, and we will tell you when that is the case.
